Delivering a continuing programme of Harbour improvements.
The harbour and many of the surrounding buildings are owned by the Porthleven Harbour & Dock Company. The company ensure the buildings are maintained and the harbour is safe for everyone to enjoy. Over the years there have been a number of renovation projects and this programme continues.
Completed Projects
The Old Lifeboat House
The building was restored and converted into an a space for artists to book for exhibitions and events.
Celtic House
The building was restored and converted to accommodate Kota Kai restaurant on the first floor and retail and office space on the ground floor.
Shipyard Market
The shipyard industrial unit has been converted into a market where a variety of local traders sell craft, locally brewed beer and spirits and homewares. There is also a cafe.
Clay Quay
This historic building was used as a China Clay store as far back as 1893. It was left derelict for 50 years until Porthleven Harbour and Dock Company renovated the building to provde a restaunt downstairs and flat upstairs
