The harbour and many of the surrounding buildings are owned by the Porthleven Harbour & Dock Company. The company ensure the buildings are maintained and the harbour is safe for everyone to enjoy. Over the years there have been a number of renovation projects and this programme continues.

The Old Lifeboat House

Celtic House

The building was restored and converted to accommodate Kota Kai restaurant on the first floor and retail and office space on the ground floor.

Porthleven Harbour Market

Traders have been coming to our outdoor market for over 10 years and the market is well established and loved by many who visit Porthleven. The addition of the huts on the right of the harbour head has supported many small businesses with affordable retail space. In 2019 the large industrial shed in the shipyard were developed into business premises and the the Shipyard Market was created. The Shipyard Market houses a cafe, permanent retail spaces and three pitches with rotating traders. See web sitefor more info.

Old China Clay Store

This historic building was used as a China Clay store as far back as 1893. It was left derelict for 50 years until Porthleven Harbour and Dock Company renovated the building to provide a restaurant downstairs and holiday apartment upstairs.
